What is NEOOUG?
The Northeast Ohio Oracle Users Group (NEOOUG) was established in 1989 for the purpose of sharing information among the user community of the Oracle relational database system offered by Oracle Corporation. The aim of NEOOUG is to foster information exchange concerning the implementation and operation of software products provided by or related to the Oracle relational database system. Our members are mostly DBAs and Application Developers who work with Oracle products on a day to day basis.

Speakers and Topics Title: "Fine-Grained Access Control: A Case Study " Presenter: Michael Tefft, Senior Data Architect at New York Community Bancorp, Inc. Synopsis: This presentation follows the requirements and design decisions of a project that incorporated Fine-Grained Access Control into its solution. It shows how the project addressed the basic requirements (and revisions to those requirements); anticipated operational and performance concerns; and adapted to other technologies used in the design. Bio: Michael Tefft is a Senior Data Architect at New York Community Bancorp, Inc. He has over twenty years of experience in Information Technology, focusing on data modeling, database design, and database application design. He has been working with Oracle databases for over ten years. He is a member of the NorthEast Ohio Oracle Users Group.
