Other Types Of Databases - Sumit Sengupta
 
Sumit is a EE major and has been working with Oracle database since 1997 – as a developer and later as a dba and an architect. He specialized in high availability systems implementation and testing and worked with standby databases since version 7 days. He also spent time architecting and designing SAN and backup and recovery solutions. Currently his interest is in big data analytics, unstructured data, noSQL and hadoop. He works for HP Enterprise Services.

Apache Hadoop Platform - Oleg Pilipenko and Adam Fishman
 
Oleg Pilipenko is a Senior Java Developer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, working on the team supporting payment processing web site Pay.gov. Prior to that Oleg worked at a number of local software start-ups, most notably, Everstream (later acquired by Concurrent Computer Corp.) where he was developing multi-screen video analytics systems, and Flashline, where he worked on the early versions of what is now known as the Oracle Enterprise Repository.

Adam Fishman is a Senior Java Developer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, working on the team supporting payment processing web site Pay.gov. Prior to that Adam worked at Explorys, provider of software platforms for aggregation, analysis and management of the healthcare data, and at Concurrent Computer Corp., provider of the systems for Audience Measurement and Operational Performance analysis.
